Thread: Gearbox main shaft bush

Hi all.

Im about to rebuild klonks gearbox and am wondering about the brass bush on the main shaft.
Most of the bushes I have seen are broken into pieces, some are running happily some are not.

I see you can buy one piece, two piece and three piece bushes.

Is there any thoughts on this problem, causes and solutions etc.

I was talking with Peter at All 4 x 4 the other day and he says they carry most 80 inch gearbox parts, seems to have all the answers - worth a call with the part number
