    1953 s1 80 inch

    Hi just joined forum have just started restoration of a s1 80 inch 1953 bought it 99% complete just missing 3 hoop parts, had been in shed for many years nearly finished stripping down to bare chassis [ all those years of building model cars is coming in handy] also in the past have restored P5b/P6b/Triumph mk1 2000 Estate and a Citroen D special still have all but the Citroen.     The Landy will be easy compared to the others you have done . Sounds like youve got a good one to start with, but I won't mention about the photos.

    s1 80 inch photos

    Hi all, look not every one is as handy as you lot for posting photos I,m still using a box brownie , try plugging that into a lap thingie top whats. Happy new year ..
    Well I tried and it will not let me post photos so if you want photos I can email them but I,m not sitting here for hours trying to figure out why these forums are so confusing, so? so long farewell and abbasynya.

    Now that is a good example nice and straight, with not too much crud/rust on the chassis, it's in much better condition than some of the wrecks I have started with.
    Posting images is a relatively easy task, only 5 years ago I had to email mine to anyone so they could put post them, I opened a photobucket account and quickly learned how to, and have never looked back, anyway good to see another 80" heading back into the fold, cheers Dennis
