    Master Cylinder shaft size

    Hi All,
I have just had my three bolt flange master cylinder rebuilt for my 1955 "86 and bought a new connection rod from the UK using the part number that connects the master cylinder to the brake pedal lever, but the output shaft from the master cylinder in 7.6mm in diameter and the rod connecting to the brake pedal in 9.2mm in diameter. I also have a 2 bolt flange 2a master cylinder which has the smaller diameter output shaft and I'm a bit confused what is the right part number to buy that connects the rod that connects the master cylinder to the brake pedal assembly.
    Any thoughts?
    Cheers
    Jason
