Thread: starting issues

Hi folks, new to the world of landrovers and have just purchased a disco 1 that hasn't been started for over a year. The bloke I got it from said it had a fuel pump issue. Now I've replaced the pump and cleaned the injectors and still can't get it to fire up. There is still a problem with the wiring for the fuel pump but I can get pressure to the engine when I hook the pump directly to a battery. Any help or suggestions would be spectacular! Thanks in advance.

You need to ask this in the Disco section. This is Series 1 ie 1948 to '58
