Series 1 with 200tdi or 300tdi in victoria

Looking some options for the engine for my series 1 and thinking would be great if I can fit 200tdi or 300tdi.

I saw threads about this but wondering anyone has done this victoria. Thanks.

Plenty of info on the net, 200 tdi discovery motor is the easiest option

    Been done

    Hello from Brisbane.

The tdi200 conversion is reasonably common - probably moreso in the UK where access to the motors was enhanced by larger numbers fitted to early Discovery vehicles and the penchant for salting the roads.

Locally, I believe one of our members 123rover50 (Kilkivan) has a tdi200 fitted in an 80" - more will no doubt emerge in response to your post.

    Cheers,

    Neil

I did the Google search of AULRO and found the posts from November 2011.
When I go back in there to find the thread I cant find it so I dont know whats happened there.
The first post of the JUMBUCK thread was the 24th November 2011.
