    Leather strips/seats

Can anyone advise me what the length (dimensions would be better) of the leather strap is that stops the seat backs falling forward, when the brakes are applied, cheers Dennis

140mm Leather Straps were used for retaining the seat bases on the 86" Series 1 and commonly used until 1985 on most Series 2 & 3 Land Rover seat bases.

100mm Leather Straps were used on the Series 1 seat backs to stop the backs from tilting forward once stowed. The straps attached to the bulk head and commonly used until 1985 on most Series 2 & 3 Land Rover seat backs.

Not sure if that's of any help... From web
