    Interesting, as I bought a car trailer with QLD rego, was registered in my name with a QLD address, didn't have to prove I owned the address. Waited 12 months, filled in the paperwork and transferred it to WA rego. I also worked for a hire company in WA that had a few mine vehicles in QLD with QLD rego. Never owned a QLD address with them either.

    All done - had to replace a cracked windscreen but otherwise no problems.
