    Chassis number information

    I'm hoping Lotz a Landies aka Diana, will see this post as I have tried to send it as a PM anyway my mate Gordon who I bought the Series 1 from has asked if there was any known history to the Land Rover, I have no idea at all so I'm posting the chassis number hopefully Diana will take a few minutes to check the books that she has and put my mate out of his misery, be a damn shame if it were a 'Snowy' L/R LOL but I'm reasonably confident that mine is just one of the many others, cheers and Thank You Diana, dennis

    Well Diana has responded to me, and this vehicle is not recoded in the 'Grenville' motors books, so I guess we keep looking, ? does anyone else have any information on other such registers of chassis numbers cheers Dennis

    I seem to recall that the books from 'Regent Motors' in Melbourne were destroyed and the same for the Qld dealer, am I right in thinking this?? cheers Dennis

    I think i was told that Annand And Thompson was a dealer in qld whose records were lost in a flood? My s2a came from them originally.
