    Contact points

Is there a cross reference chart for the series 1 contact points set ?

Lucas and Bosch for example .

I am in need a new set . Not sure of the part numbers.

    Do the later S2 and 3 contact sets fit a S1 ?

    Thanks

4 Wheel Drives always kept them but with a part number you might be able to get them at any Autobarn/Supercheap/REPCO type store. Worth giving 4 Wheel drives a call.

Just checked through a FuelMiser catalogue. They list Series I, II, IIa & III as part number L19V, they also list the 6-cyl motor as the same points.

Possibly Lucas part number 423153, I have a couple of sets here but they may have been purchased for Series IIa (not sure it's the same as Series I).

    points

Thanks to the forum members. I tracked down a NOS 420196 points set for my 1954 engine.

I found an old auto elec. shop in town and an even older owner. He had some NOS contact points .

"VESTA brand contact point set with Tungsten points" Vesta Products Rosebery NSW . I would say 1960's vintage.
