    Series 1 107' Tub

    Hi all,
Does anyone have a Series 1 107inch tub for sale? Or could refer me as to where I could buy one. Tub location would be preferred in NSW but am happy to travel interstate. I understand that they are pretty rare and very dear if you are lucky enough to come by one but any assistance as to where I could get my hands on one would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Isaac.

I have one down the back. I can check it out, but west of Gympie might be too far away.

    tub

I may be wrong but I think all of the series 1 LWB had the same tub ? The 109 has extended front wings and bonnet but the tub is identical to the 107 ?

If it was me I would be making a new tub. Buy some 18 gauge al sheet and fold up a new tub, the panels are all flat . If you do find a tub, the chances are it will be dented and need a lot of work .

These days adhesives are availabel to glue the tub together , no need for spot welding

Yes, same tub on all 107 and 109 (except of course 107 wagons!). Compared to the Series 2/3 tub these are pretty flimsy, and most still extant are bad shape. Many were replaced in service with traybacks, and the tub scrapped.
