    I've got a Mucky Undercarriage

I've been under the Land Rover of late and I'm bothered by the cumilation of years of oil and muck. It's caked onto to most surfaces around oil gaskets (where leeks have developed in the past) nuts, bolts and grease nipples are caked in the hardened stuff. Not only is it a pain when maintaining the old girl but it could be hiding potential problems and potentially fall into exposed viewing ports e.g. Flywheel inspection panel. The question is... What's the best method of removal? I want to pressure wash GRRRRRRRR!

I use a pressure washer - with the vehicle up on ramps.

There are a number of professional truck wash places in western Sydney, they will do the job for you -save you a heap of time and will do a better job, as they have hot water and better commercial grade detergent. I went to one about 5 odd years ago, well worth it.
