    New Member to the family

    Hi All,

    Despite promising that I wouldn't purchase another Land Rover - I may have just done it anyway... Please welcome aboard "May".

    Thanks to a member on this forum for helping to procure it...

    Here is May when found:

    And here is May as she currently sits:

    The plans are:

    * Complete fluid change
    * Replace braking system
    * Check radiator
    * Probably new shocks
    * Probably new lights - rear/front
    * Probably new seats
    * Club Rego

    I won't be able to pick-up the car for a few months, but my mind is already racing with ideas...

    I *think* that it's a 54 - although as it has no vents could it be earlier?

    Cheers,
    GG.

    I figure that depending on the looks, pricing & functionality - I might buy a new Defender when it comes out... (Instead of a D4)

    So, what will the next project be, Tom?

    Oh, very nice find. It should be parked next to Rodger.

    Which is the next project? Well - that's reasonably easy

    Crump & Cornish Trailer

    Then I'm not sure..

    S1 - Hopefully a quick rolling restor
    76 2 Door Rangie - long term
    83 Stage One V8 Wagon - medium restoration

    I will probably end up working on all projects at once, taking forever to finish any of them! Lol

    It looks like an 86". The chassis number will tell all. It should be stamped on top of the chassis below the LH headlight?
    It should have bulkhead vents. Maybe the bulkhead top rusted out and a new sheet of steel was placed to remove them? What is on the inside in the cabin?
