Yes . I understand that, maybe what I should have said is the TRG blokes wouldn't like it .

I might be wrong but Im pretty sure your not allowed to cross a strap over like that, you have to use something like a choker or one of these.

I always crossed the tie-down straps as it ensures that the vehicle being restrained doesn't move at all.
I have seen the metal cage type wheel restraints, but never these type, however I like the idea and might have to invest in a set.

    Cheers, Mick.

I can't find the exact one in the photo, but I bought a set of 4 of these, that have applicable AS/NZS 2000kg tag on them.

    Looks fantastic.

I checked out one similar a few months back but it was out of my price range, and not as good as that.

    Great addition to the stable.
Like the rifle rack behind the seats.

If you want a temporary solution for the seat bases I made up some plywood ones some years back. Mine has plywood which is falling apart but I'm making the correct style bases from strips of hardwood.
All you'd need is some foam and someone to make the covers.

When are you having an 'open day' ??

They stopped using the bolt on front bearing housing at or just before the beginning of Series 3 production .

Rover cars & Early series one had a round flange without the mud slinger , so its more likely 1949 ish to 1972 ish .
