It's a fair drive from any side of town.

[biggrin] We'll be up on the weekend,, be handy if she starts so you can take Leeanne for a quick burl [wink11] (never know,, she might relent and let me have one [bigwhistle])
The three position switch is a steering column truck light switch as indicated by John, and I'm pretty sure from memory its Bedford K series (?) unit. I think actually, quite a few English vehicles were issued with these types of switches.
Pic 20 I think, there's some carby fittings/linkages there in the top RH corner I think.
The cab lights look like old bus type interior lights maybe(?).
Hi Chops,
After drying out she starts again but has NO brakes so I shan’t be driving her too far... [emoji15][emoji6]
Looks a little ripper Tom [thumbsupbig]
While I'm sure those items in the photo are better, I don't know of any legislation that forbids crossing a strap - it may only be recommended practice but I'd be happy to be corrected if you have the appropriate legislation handy. Passed several Police on the way back - including Highway Patrol, no one chased us down to tell us off, so I still consider it safe and legal to be honest, but happy to be corrected. 😊
Looks like a great s1.
Not to worry , I'm the only one of my siblings thats not a cop , I don't think any of them would see anything wrong with this picture ! I still would not cross a strap back on itself , maybe its just me.
