Try resetting the preload. If it has settled which mine did , the seal will leak
A mentioned previously, did think I had the LH swivel ball seal fixed and properly shimmed a couple of weeks ago.
Walked past this morning and found the oil on the concrete. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200.
Yyyyyaaaaaggggghhhh!

Instead of using oil I make my own free flowing grease by adding a little diff oil to chassis grease and mixing it well. Much easier to keep it in.

Was it a **itpart seal ?
Where is the leak coming from ? The ouside edge of the seal or past the lip where it seals against the swivel ball ?
Wipe it down & check regularly to work out where the leak is coming from.
Before inserting the seal I run a bead of non-setting gasket compound round the recess so the outer edge of the seal sits in it.
On a Series III a while back the seal sat off-centre for some reason, I had to shim both top & bottom to get the seal centralised round the swivel ball.
The seals I've used are Karsons which are Indian manufactured so probably the same as **itpart or Bearmach but have always worked OK. My 86" was done about 12 years ago and holding oil OK still.

I pump a half a cartridge of marine hub grease into my swivels and a good squirt of Moreys oil stabiliser . Never leak again and basically last forever . No matter if its an 80" a Defender or a Toyota.
I hav been using floating grease , the type they use in the gearbox of grinders & drills in my 80" with tractor joints for over 10 years with out any problems , it fluid enough also flick up to lube the top swivel pin but dose not leak out the seals.
