Thanks for the info, mine seems to have survived fairly well considering it has been sittting in a paddock for a couple of decades at least, surface rust in parts but quite good really.
I'll look into Athol Hedges and Annand & Thompson a little more.
    Cheers.

That roof panel is definitely from the same maker as mine, very interesting!
I have my land rover in secure storage at the moment while i extend my shed to accommodate the restoration project, but will try to get down and check the welding on the angle change this weekend and let you know what i find.
Im also trying to track down a copy of one of Barbara Toy's early books as I'm interested to read it and to see the station wagon conversion on it after what John said on this thread earlier, but they seem very hard to find and extremely expensive! haha
Have a nice day, I'll update you on what i find with this roof panel.
    Nick,
I've found lots of pictures of Pollyanna but it's always a soft top. There was one where it had a hardtop but it was a front on view.

The State Library of Victoria have some of her books.

National Library of Australia also have some of them.

I used bookfinder.com and they are available but as you suggested, some of them are very expensive.

Glad you liked it. I knew I had seen a picture like that, but I had to look through a number of books to find it.

It is possible that both your one and Pollyanna were patterned on some other vehicle rather than each other, although the fact that Pollyanna was in Australia in 1958 does suggest a link.
