    2ltr vibration damper (harmonic balancer)

    Me again

    Has anyone had experience with the > 60 yr vibration dampers? Problems on reco engines?

    In particular the two damping rubbers p/n 03017? Mine look to be intact but most likely as hard as the steel around them.

    Let sleeping dogs lie, or pull them and seek replacement?

    My early 1950 80" still has the one that it came out of the factory with , dose not seam to give any problems.
