I'd just be getting some rubber off a roll from Clarke Rubber or Bunnings and cut it to shape. Works well in my 86".
Hi all.
My old girl is heading off for new paint next week and I'd like to shout her a nice set of new rubber floor mats to keep her lovely new paint clean and scratch free (for a while anyway).
Can someone recommend a good brand or reseller that is a good fit for our Series 1's?
many thanks
Jeff

Same here, 'chequer plate' rubber matting cut to size.
Taped a couple of cornflake boxes together and made a template, used that to cut the matting to size. Been in the vehicle 12 or so years now but I remember it smelt a bit when first installed.
You can see it in the picture below

I think someone in the UK was making the period correct 'link matting' but this would be very expensive.

Greetings from the UK. I have just joined to be able to post on this thread ,as I have a possible source of floor mats . Unfortunately for you they are in England but they look like a decent product . 86" Front Mats ( Pair ) | Exmoor Trim . They also do mats for 80”s.
i keep meaning to get some for my 107” but haven’t got around to it . The big hassle is that the postal service to and from Australia is really rubbish at the moment . I hope this helps .
As a side note. Pegasus does not have a very good reputation with Series One owners in the UK.
