I bought some from Repco couple of years ago , ordered it in the morning & had it by early afternoon & could order a small quantity .

As you suggest, it runs round the back of the head. Mine is not clamped anywhere but I seem to remember it should be clamped with a light metal bracket under one of the manifold bolts.
