Oil Pressure Relief Valve - initial setting

					Good day gentlemen,
As I wade my way through the various jobs, leading up to starting my rebuilt engine, I was wondering if someone could suggest a reasonable initial setting for the Oil Relief Valve?
I paid attention to how may threads were visible between the adjustment shaft and the lock Nut when I removed it, and mine was showing about 4 threads. Is that a fair and reasonable starting point for first turn-over?

I have purchased an Oil pressure gauge so can hopefully adjust it to the recommenced pressure, once the engine is up and running, however I would like to get as close as possible from the onset as I'd hate to do the motor any harm after so much time, money and effort has been expended.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 regards
 Jeff in Perth
