Correct Order to re-install panels
Gentlemen,
Next week, the panels of my 1953 S1 80" go off for repair and paint. It has taken me nearly 5 years to get this far.
I have read posts on this forum where people have had to redo quite a lot of work, because certain panels need to in place prior to installing others.
So I am reaching out hoping that there is a "correct" sequence of reassembly for the body panels that needs to be followed to avoid having to redo too much work.
Many thanks in advance
Jeff

My understanding is as follows.
- Place rear tub as this direct bolts to the chassis with no real opportunity to adjust its position.
- Install seat box as it much the same as above.
- Install bulkhead and hang doors. Use adjustment in the doors and shims on the bulkhead to get everything lined up and door alignment and gaps acceptable.
- Hang front panels.
And hopefully then everything is remotely straight and lined up...
