The distributor number should be on the side, the original Lucas P/M for the points was GL19,Bosch GL19 are also same points. They fitted lots of British cars with Lucas ignition system, Ie Mini, Triumphs & Rover.

    Looks like a Lucas 25D
it should have it stamped on body somewhere.
Looks like you need a new Pig Tail.
Distributor pigtail side entry distributor only - Minis Plus
Ignition points to approx 1974 - Minis Plus

Pic 3 shows the number 40330 which, according to the parts manual was used on 54-55 models up to engine number 57119697.
From engine no 57119698 on. a 40504 was used.
I believe the 40330 uses Bosch equivalent GL 14 points
    The 40504 GL 19

Mobs like autobarn say they have them, but I'd check. Personally I'd try Bursons. There's one in Moonah. I think B.S.F. is correct. GL14 is model correct. GL 19 look similar, but do not fit. I found this out on a 1948 Daimler we had moons ago. GL 19 became ubiquitous across nearly all British cars a little later.
Try to avoid cheap ones ( if such a thing exists ) as they had a habit of breaking the contact tip off, with resulting failure to proceed.

It appears to be a DM2 G95 spec date 5/55 if I am reading the numbers correctly. Research the correct number for a DM2. I believe the points for the earlier 1954 DM2P4 ? had a R clip on the vacuum advance post may be different again. Some of the parts from a 25 D will fit. 5380
