    And the Bakelite steering wheel centre is in one piece. Amazing.Only thing I can spot out of place with a quick look is the length of the bonnet.

    It looked fairly complete to me, other than missing some seats, the air filter and the door tops. That being said, I think this may be the first time I've seen a Series 1 in the flesh, let alone up close, so I could be wrong.

    Thank you both for the info, as a recent Landy convert it's always interesting to learn more!

    hi all
    yes it is my 1957
    we used it for lighting the front of the "kylie" float
    driver is on of the lads that work for me
    perfect for parades ,low range and off you go
    i sold a 1961 to the RAS about 10 years ago for their parade you might of seen it at the show painted yellow and blue
