I made him a cheaper offer before bidding started, and he(what could be considered rudely)replied that he was quiet confident of it fetching a high price. Interesting.

Well as a few people have said - it makes our older series ones worth a few dollars...................so what does it makes the wifes farm hack "1954" - fitted with capstan and rear PTO NOTE: its road registered & runs

Series 1 1953 80" on ebay. $2000 buy it now price. Sounds like for that price you get a rusted out chassis (totally) and motor plugged full of grease (some 10yrs ago). I think the guy is dreaming.

If in fact it does come with a complete PTO it is worth $2000 with out a doubt.
I've been to the viewing. What you get are dinged front wings, rusted firewall, good tub and doors/tops, sus g/box and unknown motor. I've seen better for 2G

Hi all spotted this early 1950 80" on ebay although not 100% complete would be worth while buying has the front mounted spring shackles & shovel back seats, any ways have a look.
