Thread: Work on the 'ol ute tomorrow

Well thats it ... the Ol Ute has left the building .

I shall put up some last photos of her tonight . Safe drive Paul and hope all goes very well. She looked good behind the 90" driving out

A sad day to see the Ol'ute go, This has been a very interesting thread to follow.
I'm sure the new "Shorty" thread will be as interesting.

Well, made it home ok - she didn't move an inch.
Slow ol trip, sat on about 85kmh. Chewing about 15l per 100km. The 90 was working pretty hard. You can see in the photos that the 90 was sitting pretty low in the rear. No dramas though - except the bumper to bumper traffic on the freeway - took a bit of life off the clutch
I've left her on the trailer for tonight and I'll unload in the morning.

Thanks again Troy she looks lovely - you've done a fine job . I'm sure she'll have a nice and easy, pampered life in the burbs. Can't wait to get her on the road.

To right Allen, It was a perfect day, no wind; nice an sunny. As Troy would testify I was a little nervous with the big load (I think the biggest thing I have towed is a 6x4 full of rubbish.) Glad I didn't have to fight the weather as well!!
