G'Day William! (Will? Bill?)
Looking forward to your photos. If you would like, I highly recommend you start a thread in the "Projects and Tutorials" section and document your progress (with LOTS of pics) as you go. Not only do you get lots of the best advice you could hope for, but your experience could benefit someone else. Quite apart from that, it just makes for good reading!
Welcome to AULRO. :)
Here are the photo's of the 86. As found, Home

Looks good William, pity about the Left hand side. How's the chassis, engine? What's your plan? Nut and bolt restore or get her running and tidyed up?
Thank you all for your replies.
The basic plan is, remove the body, work on chassis, gearbox, diff's, engine etc.
Find the parts I need, I am sure there will be plenty of then around here. paint, assemble, and I am finished, I do not think it will happen that quick.
There will be a lot of questions to this forum between the 'remove the body' and 'assemble'.
To Shonky, that sounds like a great idea to post my progress, I will keep the lens on the camera clean.
I will not be starting until the middle of October (going to NZ).
Keep your spanners clean.

Hello William, glad to hear you have some rain out there, looks like it will be a fun restoration, if you have any questions there are people here who know the answers, keep us posted. Anthony.

Ooohh Bill - that is quite a project! I can see many hours of fettling in front of you. Nice to hear that it is going to be restored.
I've got one the same year and it forlornly sits and waits in my shed for me to get some time to get it started. Gotta stop working so much :(
Welcome
David
