Well you know where to off load those seats and bumper if you dont want em
Looks to be a Very Late 51 due the the lack of side lights on the firewall. The Middle seat is original 51 but the outer 2 are from an earlier model.
Or it could go this way the front guards are 2-piece which means they have been swapped from an earlier model or it is an late 50 or early 51 and the firewall sidelights were just cut off. Who knows... The firewall seems to be missing its center oval....
Any chance of a chassis number?
Anyways Congrats!

The wiring is an absolute mess because the previous owner decided to "isolate" everything bar the starter and coil, just the bare essentials. Saying that, the engine (holden 186) runs flawlessly, it's even got clean oiltook her for a hot lap round the block and down to the vacant block to test it's cooking credentials (doughnut making specifically
) which it also excelled at. Only thing is that one or two of the brake cylinders have frozen transfering all the breaking power to one wheel at the back and front...
Looks like she will be the farm hack for a while, mum is really keen on painting it too haha
Don't worry, only made one... I wasn't that hungry. Plus the grass was very wet and greasy.
Just trying to upload a quick pic i took before it got to dark

Your bulkhead sidelights must of been cut off.
Very close to 1000! Well done. Did you ask the previous owner if he might know what ever happened to the original motor? It might even be a Square Sump 1.6L IOE
I have been lucky sometimes to find them still sitting in the same place they were removed 30 years ago or whatever.
I'm saying this because for my 51 i managed to track down the original motor as it was still sitting in the same place it was removed over 30 years ago. I can even confirm the removal year as it had a piece of newspaper stuck down the dizzy drive with a year of 1970 on it.
