Thread: S1 1955 interior light

hi All,

Did the early S1 1955 86inch model landrover have an internal simple light attached to the internal centre hood bars by way of two rivets on a base plate. Dont have a pic but not sure if original or not?

Also the rear mud flaps have a LR oval aluminium badge on each flap - is this original or not - the badge is but was it on the rear mud flap? thx

The basic models did not have an internal light - however the station wagon and any model with deluxe trim did have an internal light with the switch just to the right of the speedo on a seperate panel.
