Hi all, thought show a few pics of the 1958, 88" that I just picked up from down near Murrumbateman N.S.W. its all original including what is left of the bronze green paint. The best thing is that is has a sweet running 2L motor & is totaly rust free. Sorry about the poor quality pics as i had to use my mobile phone.

Very nice and tidy little one. quick polish and shes ready to roll.
If the engine and running gear is all sweet then it looks like your main job is the front seats.
I just got an Exmoor Trim brochure (included with a LR mag) and they have replacement seats and backs for Series I. They even have the little leather straps to hold the seat backs up.
What did it set you back, if you don't mind telling?
Looks nice, comes with a spare tub does it?

Nice one Lost Landy, you have got to love it when they have some markings on them, I presume it is a property name.
Cheers, Mick.

In NSW up to about 1963 goods carrying vehicles (all vehicles other than cars and buses) were required to have clearly marked on the right hand side the owner's name and address and the tare and gross weights. This applied even if used as private vehicles, as utes and vans had to be registered as commercial vehicles. The change to allow private registration of commercial type vehicles was introduced about then, and some time later the requirement for signage seems to have gone. Not too sure of the dates, as it happened after 1962 when I left NSW.

The landy was originaly from Quambone and was bought by a pastoral company in new in 1958. The rear tub isnt mine, picked up the rear tub for a mate on the way home but now he wants to sell the tub lol. I paid just under $700 for Landy.
Everything you need for a great resto.
