Thumbs up Hardtop Article - April 1950

another one i found in one of my manuals, an article from a newspaper in April 1951 about Land Rover 80inch and the Hardtop. Is this when the Hardtops became available in Australia? an interesting read at the end bit about the station wagon are they referring to the Tickford Station Wagon?

    Regards,

No, they must mean the Tickford - it was still in production when the article was published (although not for much longer), so any reference to "station wagon" must have meant that. This would fit in with the "fully imported" description.

With the Tickford still in production, nobody would have used the term to mean anything else.
