. But you'll see Rovers like that just about anywhere . The faded paintwork is deceiving , in that it appears to be nice and striaight .. walk up to it and you'll see myriad dents and bumps all over it. A good tip for restorers is : to hide a less than perfect body, use dead flat paint - AKA lusterless finish ..it gives that used look and it hides all those little imperfections .

 True. Look the only reason I mentioned the darn thing is because I thought it might be of interest to someone in the area that is after a nice original series 1 shorty to restore. It looks pretty sweet compared to alot of what I have seen around.
 
They're becoming harder and harder to find in an "un-butchered" state so I thought I would post it up. I dont know if it is for sale. If you are keen you will find the owner and talk them into selling it because at the minute whoever owns it doesn't give a toss by the looks of things.
