Yes very nice looking example. He has been trying to sell it for a few months now. Looks to be well preserved.![]()
The roof looks totally original to me - what aspect do you think is not right. As far as I am aware - all series 1 station wagons - both short and long wheel base had tropical roofs and alpine windows. There should be four air vents in the roof and the tropical roofs looks like it does have the little bumps that allow the vents to open in the main roof.

umm, there is a series that lives under a trap under a tree at the end of the street, long wheel base and very well could be a S1
i must go and have a closer look, i doubt it would be in as good of condition as the one in the link but have always wondered what the onwers plans are for it
wow
is it a station wagon?
sitting under this tree![]()

If you are surprised about the chassis number, there were only 36 CKD RHD 107 SW built in 1958 and from what I understand almost all of them came to Australia, so what is rare in the rest of the world is not so hens teeth rare in Australia.
The body looks complete and original but almost all the deluxe trim is missing as are all the rear seats except for part of the second row frame. What is sad about that is that the 107 wagon rear seat folded flat, which you could use as part of a bed. Something that wasn't available on any of the later models apart from the after market Dormobile.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
