For those who dont know, Both my ex mils are missing "ingredients" essential to being cooked back up to mil spec.

I found some panels& parts in qld, POP058 collected and babysat them for me, then sorted out what I needed and got rid of rest (properly-no throw aways!) for me, he then conveyed them all to "BRISVEGAS".. Thanks Paul!

Then the load was dropped off with the "HO HARS" , Harry and Caroline had not only taken possession of my stash they added lots of bits I needed to it and even collected another one that I bought on ebay!!.. then the load was packaged up and delivered to a freight depot to come to me!!!
    Thanks Guys!!!

now those parts are on the way, Im very excited, three projects to get thumping on at once!!!!!..

this was all done via the REMLR forum and its a great thing!!

    Cheers

This story just keeps getting better and better

First the find, then the shedful of spares, then a spare tub (for a 109!) turns up. What's next? Toolbox turns out to be full of NOS pork pie lights?

Digger, you must be happier than a dog with two tails to wag - well done

    Congratulations everyone involved

Nah, he wouldnt have had more than 10 maybe, but the spare parts for them are allegedly hard to get so I left them there,

Last I saw he was placing them in a line in front of his header tyres. to see how many he could jump....

and back to reality.... yep again Im in "BOBCAT mode" (a happy little digger!) and he reckons he has the drivers side door top there somewhere, he knows because he sat it next to the window glass and plastic he took out of it before!! when he finds it (and whatever else) he'll give me a call to take a trip out there..... he thinks the mirrors (guard mounted round mirrors) may have been thrown out in a recent clean up, "but they were both cracked"

    No...who the heck is that??

    Theres Hagar....
but I had a "yotota rollux" (dual cab) for a fair while and my mum thought it was a terrible "ute thingy" (it was in good nick too until we rolled it up past oodnadatta one holiday - bloody bulldust roads!!)

anyway she named my cars. She looked at the thing and said "thats horrible" so it became "HORRIE".. and was known as horrie from that day forth...to everyone..

(I also had tommy toyota (73 fj40) and larry landcruiser (78 fj40) before I left the dark side and got Larry land rover (96 defender 110)...

anyway out of the previous names this one sprang to mind when Nay saw what I had when I came in and said "It followed me home can I keep it?" pointing to HORRIE on a trailer behind my ..work..car....!
