1954/55 from Hobart to London in an 80"

    Hi All,

Many of you may or may not have read of this Expedition from 'The Motor 31st August 1955' called 'Operation Roverland'

If not you can get it here,

    http://www.lrsoc.com/forum/forum_files/Motor1955.pdf

It covers a Mr H. Hill-Venning and a Mr K.J.B Teesdale and Mrs Teesdale who completed the trip covering some 32,000 miles in 1954/55.

Why I ask is I was looking up a few things the other day here in the UK and found a few really good photos of them having arrived at Solihull in the Land Rover.

I can't let you see the pics yet but does anyone know anything more of this trip or anything else of the participants???

    Hi
A bit late to the party but Mrs Teasdale was my Aunt, I have all her letters home from the trip plus photos etc, she had always intended to make a book from the trip.

As an owner from Hobart , Tasmania that would be a wonderful book.
What sort of help would you need?

Maybe a PM, he's only made two posts, both over six months ago.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
