    Exhaust manifold gasket

    Which way does it go on????

    Do you mean a Series 1 gasket? I dont think it matters

    Just looked at one. I say the flat side to the block and the dimples to the manifold........... ?

    She's sorted - if it's back to front, or indeed, if that is possible, we may discover when I fire her up next

    Thanks for the advice, groucho.

    PS - I think that's what we did! If that means metal side in, "gasket" side out.

    gasket

    Hi All
    the most important part
    you have all forgotten
    do not leave it out
    the metal part go towards the hottest bit
    i.e. next to the manifold
