    I suspect very few engineers would know Landrovers well enough to distinguish any well done repairs from original construction - after all, the chassis has bits welded on all over it! (And some of the original welding is none too flash anyway!)

    yeah they checked the Landy, for repairs to the Chassi etc. & okayed it!
    but their main interest was the engine conversion, brake test, emmision test and seat belts that was about it. & i agree with what John said about the
    Engineers not knowing enough about earlier Landys, etc.

    you shouldnt have a problem, unless you try to repair a chassi with Fiber Glass then ur in Trouble....!

    i got my roadworthy last week too and all i had to change was the indicator lamps back to the 50mm Hella ones. as i had Motorcycle lamps caus they were smaller and looked better. soon as i get rego theylll go back on the vehicle........!
