Containers Ltd used to be in Hurstville, I think they moved. I used to cart tinplate into. and scrap out of There used to be caps filler necks and cans
ect but i could not think of a use for them at the time.
Morris Mcmahon make tin cans i think they are still in Arncliffe Syd........

A cap off a thinners 4lt can fits
just take off the plastic cover

Get a big washer , sit the cap in centre of the hole and tap it with a ball peen hammer to make the dimple in the top.

Cut up a baked been can to make the inside baffle
again do the washer thing, solder to inside if lid and drill the air hole
and new lid. better than nothing.......

Great work making something look good
been there and done that
I sent a used one to a AULRO member last month
digging through a another box last week found 2 brand new ones
who would like one as I will keep one for myself
It was 3 years ago I bought a couple of truck loads of gear
silt finding the odd bits

The series 2 had 2 fittings 1 on bottom and 1 on the side........
