    rear axle brake plate attachment

    Just needing advice on the correct orientation of the rear axle/diff brake plate pictured in photo. Not sure whether the right or left plate affixes to the passenger side bw diff housing and springs. Pls let me know which one (L) or (R) plate affixes to the passenger side. cheers

    Left. They are to protect the brake line from rubbing against the check strap, which is outside the spring.

    And Brake lines run on the backside of the plate and the axle checkstrap on the front side of the plate
