this is definitely a series 1 lwb pickup, i just dont know the wheelbase length and the year.

    ........
Wheelbase changed from 86/107 to 88/109 in 1956 to provide room for the planned diesel engine (except 107 wagon which continued to about the end of 1958). The two are difficult to distinguish edxcept by looking at the position of the bolt to the stay at the bottom rear of the front mudguard. This is right at the wheel arch on the shorter ones, two inches further back on the longer - but the chassis number will tell you unequivocally.

sorry it was my mistake. i thought all series 1 lwb vehicles were 107 inch.hence my original post. the owner stated he thought it was a later model due to it not having the angle on the doors. it could very easily be either 107 or 109. its just not early enough to have angled doors.

its all very vague at the moment but i will clarify everything as soon as i can.
that being said, this is still an incredible find.

is there anyone interested in a series 1 lwb?
