    These days I wouldn't be bothered machining 11" brakes because you then also have to acquire oversized shoes as well.

    Only last week I replaced all 4 front cylinders, 4 new shoes and 2 new 3" X 11" drums for just $220 from CLR in Winmalee.

    thats what I have been kind of saying to Ian....he wants to see if they can be machined were as I said you can get a pair of new drums off ebay for $150
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    The price of labour these days is starting to overcome the price of new parts nowdays......

    Just spoke to Ian and said what you said Diana, and his words were well if Diana thinks its not worth doing then it probably isn't so we will look at getting new parts
