Looking for PMC LRS serial number near 3762

Hi people have been contacted by a SII owner who is trying to identify the model year of his SII 88" - the vehicle is missing it's ID plate and the chassis number is unreadable at digits: four and nine.

Does anyone have a SI 88" with a Pressed Metals ID plate indicating a serial number near LRS 3762 (88 3762)?

If yes can you let me know your chassis number so we may be able to make a guesstimate for the rest of the numbers on our fellow enthusiasts vehicle?

LRS 4324 has chassis number 143100444. Not real close, but it might help.

While your number was 562 numbers away from our number it confirmed that the vehicle chassis number was not from a 1961, so we looked at the 1960 vehicles in the Grenville Motors books and the 0142? decade to find a match with the original ignition key - the engine had been changed to Holden so no help.

When he cleaned up the chassis number a little more we could confirm the last digit, so the year was the only missing data.

    Thanks heaps.
