    '68 2A 109 Gas Conversion (on going)

Here are some pics of my conversion that I started about 1 year ago. I changed from a tub to a tray back to allow for the large tank (120L). I never completely finished the tray conversion and am now going back to the original tub.
The LPG conversion was done by Team Green Autogas Brisbane, but with me doing the tank and tray fitment as I knew what I wanted.
Here is a pic with the hoops fitted ready for the tank and conversion. I fitted the tray after Team Green did their work. (Note: no rear makes for scary stopping and corners in the wet)

I am currently modifying the tub to accommodate the tank. Here are a couple of pics and I am expecting to have it done in the next week or two. The sheet for the tank box was from the door cutout of a refrigerated shipping container sound studio project, saved me about $90. and has distressing that matches the 2A.
Ages ago I had some laser cutting done to make up new seat belt mounts (copied from the rover design but with heavier gauge plate), I also joined them and sandwiched the aluminium flange with S/S angle to spread out the forces in the event of an accident.

The tub is back on again after a couple of years. It looks great, so good to have it back in one piece. I still have a huge to-do list, including bolting it down etc. Here are a couple of pics.
