I had quotes varying between A$2000 and A$3000. That was from Queenstown mind you and also factored the unpredictable landing costs of customs etc.

All those are roll on roll off out of AKL. There is the option of container via Japan for about 1800 but takes months.

There is a strange disparity in the cost of freight over the tasman. Its cheaper from the US!

    Wow!
That's expensive enough, but by the look of that little beauty it will be well worth it!

    Cheers for now, Mick

Yes. Its ridiculously expensive, I wouldn't have considered it if the dollar hadn't softened the blow a bit. I think she'll be worth it.

    cheers

Picked her up from the docks yesterday. Was a pearler of a day so drove home in the air.

In even better condition than I had imagined! (except that the goons in Quarantine who broke the air cleaner element and graffitied the canvas with the pressure sprayer but left plenty of dirt underneath )

Got the bluey today, greeny tomorrow, plates by the weekend.

    Heaps of pics to follow.

I used to live just around the corner in Annandale, but just moved a couple of hours north. Would love to have a close look at it too.. Looks like a very nice example.

Thats a good idea, already had plenty of questions and admiration from the carpark. I'm off to the RTA tomorrow to get plates and go for a decent drive.

The rubber is fairly well vintaged so I'll be tracking down some fresh Michelin X 750R16s...any one know where I can get them?
