Yes. Almost all panel assemblies and most individual panels are interchangeable. About the only difference is that windscreens and bulkheads have to go together, and minor panelbeating will be needed here and there, such as lock holes to fit S3 locks to S2a doors, or S3 mudguards to S2a or vice versa - inner splash guard is different to accommodate dual circuit master cylinder.

Yes you can put a SIII 88" roof rack on a SII or SIIa roof (gutter)but you will have trouble fitting it on the body if it doesn't have a hard-top!

they all bolt straight on, doors and windshields are the exceptions and even then if you change a couple of bits at the same time the doors cross over as well.

the windshields are let down by the wiper and bulkhead mount configuration BUT you can mod them and make them fit.

If it fits a Series 3, it fits a Series 2/2a and vice versa.

    A fibreglass roof is unusual.

In the full length hard-tops the later Athol-Hedges tops were fibreglass, but have never seen a ute cab variant.

No the standard SIII roof rack would not necessarily fit an A-H roof.

    JohnF,
Are you sure its not a FJ40/45 roof? they were fibreglass,
they were 'rounded' more than a landrover roof... pretty sure if its a
    cruiser roof it won't fit!
