					Hello,

Trying to find some easy info on the girlfriends 2a.
The history of it said it was rebuilt in '98 by Hilton Pollard.
Because like all things rover, bits have been chopped and changed from different models. I was wondering, due to a failed google search or 2.
Is there a number or a website, so i can try and track down some of the wanted information??? such as what bits were put in and from what series LR they are. eg the props are series 3 so the unis that were bought didn't fit. the speedo is adjusted to ?? who knows as the variance is too wide to figure it out.
And just in general, so a better history, parts catalogue can be put together for any potential breaks in the bush.

 Ta and thanks.

I think you have asked the unanswerable question.

Details of rebuilds of the nature you've described, unless documented at the time, would be very difficult to recall. Also, Hilton would have done many similar jobs and unless his memory is much better than mine he would have trouble recalling specifics regarding a particular rebuild.

Best I think would be to remove suspect part and inspect/measure/check before purchasing replacement and then document things as you discover them.

Good luck and enjoy your Landy experience.

 Roger
