Spring Clips and my new 88

Morning all, finally got round to posting a couple of pics of the new girl. Very happy to be a series owner at last. Its in amazing condition, only the trip over the ocean has tarnished a few steel bits.

What I am reaching out to the group for is somewhere I can locate these spring clips from (anyone got a few spares ). The good old customs inspectors unclipped the barrel lost two of the clips, as well as scribbling a tag on the canvas with the pressure sprayer...grrr.

Looks nice, but I do not recognise that aircleaner, so can't help with the clips. Any idea what it is off?

    clip discovery

    Hi

Those clips do look similar to the ones on a discovery 300TDi air filter.
    Worth a look, I reckon .

    Nice truck from NZ.
I saw that one on Trade Me & thought what a well worked snorkel. The whole truck realy.
That air filter looks the same as a Mitsi Galant 1988ish unit.
What was the freight & customs fees?

Had a photo shoot at the decaying Harold Park today so I snapped off one for posterity. I'll take more detail shots for a separate post later.

Shipping was round 2k including trucking from Queenstown to ChCh. Port fees will end up being round the same once customs have their way. Not cheap....lucky she is such a nice truck.

    G'day Carby

Complain to Aqis as they have blown the waterproofing from the canvas, so it will have to be re-proofed if you have pics of it before and after it should be no contest, they pay

    cheers

Good to know UncleHo! I will have to watch out when my 90 arrives into Brissie in a couple of weeks.
