    Series 2 - $US80,000.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a look at this Series 2 total rebuild at $US80,000:

Land Rover Series 2 for sale | Hemmings Motor News

Yes, it should have a Station Wagon rear door. Nevertheless it's a top job.

Before any of you say "He's dreamin'" he sold this one for $US160,900.00:

Extremely rare Land Rover to be auctioned by Orvis.

Apparently there is another in progress. Who says you can't get your restoration cost back?

If he had of removed the horrible roof rack, he probably would have got another 10 grand for it

The English and Americans seem to love those types of roofracks - just look at those on the Camel vehicles. Not shaped inwards at all above the gutters.

    Here's the man's website:

    Lanny Clark

Land Rover should read his "About Land Rovers" page. Might give them a few pointers in designing the Defender replacement.

    NOS ash tray..., very classy

Throws down the gauntlet..."You will not find a nicer restored Series Rover anywhere"....except on aulro where I reckon I've seen at least a dozen just as good.
