    Front Brakes - Photo Please

    Hi All,
    Restoring a 61 Series 2. LWB Ute.
Could somebody please post a detailed photo of the front brakes - with the drum off?
I removed the front brakes months ago - and now can't remember exactly how everything goes back together...
I have installed new wheel cylinders, flexible brake lines, fixed brake lines correctly.
But I can't remember how the springs connect (both top & bottom).
I need a picture of the springs please?
I think that I have the shoes fitted correctly.
I have the workshop / restoration manuals, but the pictures aren't exactly clear!
    Thanks,
    The Grey Ghost.

    Hi The Grey Ghost.

I have a picture from our stage 1. I think the earlier one has the same set up (if not sorry!):

    cheers

Layout is the same as all 109" (just that V8 and 6cyl had wider linings and drums).

If you removed the backing plates all those months ago, be sure to refit them to the correct side of the axle, otherwise the brake shoes willbe trailing with virtually no stopping power except in reverse. The example in Petes photo is for the left side.
