Using a Series Landrover as it was designed

First cold air mass of autumn heading this way, so got to work this afternoon.

    guess

    Hi John

I've got my eye on a nice dry lot of white gum and black wattle, not far from home either.

    That Landy is that a 2A 2.6?

Yes, try putting that lot in the back of a Discovery, Evoque or Range Rover.

I don't have to bother. Only this week I started to sleep under a sheet. Don't own a room heater of any description.

    No, 2.25 petrol. All ironbark.

No, one tank of fuel in the saw. Only less than a kilometre to carry it, and I am not as young as I used to be. One tank is about my limit these days. The other thing is that with ironbark (and the sandy soil) you have to sharpen the chain every tank.

Yes, I know about Brisbane - lived there in the past, and was there only a month ago.

Thanks for reminding me John, we'll have to plan another trip and finish off those jobs we started last October - especially clearing the timber from the fenceline.

I hope you're finding the power set-up in the shed a bit more convenient now.
    Roger
