Thread: From Jaguar to Land Rover

G'day all,

I've just finished of a complete tear down and rebuild of a 1960 Mark 2 Jaguar and got it registered in Victoria. The Jag is a nice but now I wan'ta project that's thing a bit more fun and retains the British heritage!

So After suffering withdrawal symptoms and an empty workshop I went out a picked up a late Series 2A Land Rover. It's got a 186 Red Motor and pretty old and beat-up looking but seems sound enough.


Chassis Number: 25333212G (April 1969 till October 1971?)
Body Number: LRL24370
Serial NUmber: 1092437

I've got no rego information or prior records so if anyone can help me get a bit closer to the actual assembly date that would be appreciated?
